The goodness and the true presence of God embodied by Padre Pio was so clearly portrayed by the stories in Book I that I thought no other book could bring me closer to Padre Pio and make me feel so clearly and deeply the Love of God. But Pray, Hope, and Don't Worry: True Stories of Padre Pio Book II has done just that. Whenever I find my faith in prayer to be flagging, my hope fading and my worry growing so great that I think it cannot be endured one more second, I just reread Book II and my heart is at one with Padre Pio again, and I no longer fear the evil of the world.
